Description The main focus of the article pertains to the legislative activities of the International Labour Organization. The fundamental rules of operation and legislative procedures followed within the process which leads to adopting the binding legal instruments issued by the International Labour organization are particularly addressed. Attention is paid to the tripartite representation principle, while this specific feature of the International Labour organization does remarkably affect its activities, including the most important activity, which represents the issuing of International Labour Organization Conventions. The article does also give an opinion on the evaluation of efficiency and effectiveness of International Labour Organization legislative activities.
