Description Highly variable nuclear (5.8S-ITS2) and mitochondrial genes (COI; NADH) of Bertiella isolates were sequenced from different primates (Callicebus oenanthe, Gorilla gorilla, G. beringei, Pan troglodytes, Pongo abelii) and humans from various regions (South America, Africa, Indonesia).
