Description The authors draw attention to the occupationally- related tumour diseases. In the years 1991 – 2009, 1038 occupational malignant neoplasmas have been notified in the Czech Republic. Most diseases were detected in 1991 (100 cases), the lowest rate was in 2008 (24 cases). The trend was decreasing, males were affected in 95 %. As the cause of malignant neoplasms ionizing radiation in 78 % dominated, followed by the asbestos and coke-oven gas. In the conclusion the authors analyze the causes of decreasing tendency in the number of notified malignant occupational diseases.
