| Description | Many landscapes in the Czech Republic bear the indications of two extreme types of utilization in the same time – intense agriculture and leaving (dilapidation). Regeneration of landscape here can mean the compromise, based on potentials and limits of the place with taking historical, social and physiographical context into account. In the significant landscape element Poustka near Pozořice has been hold the complex research on natural conditions, historical development of land use, inventory survey and public opinion inquiry in combination of questionnaire and semi structured interviews. Combination of methods leads to a proposal of a management plan, respecting both economic ability of the village in relation to sustainable management and possibilities of recreational use for local community and environmental functions as well. Regeneration of the area of interest is not thus only strictly ecologically oriented proposal, but widely conceived contribution to landscape sustainability. |
