| Description | Negatively defined differences among people often lead to stigmatization of the ones who differ. Difference meaning negative social status is called stigma attribute. Clients of helping professions (such as children with behavioral difficulties and other target groups of special pedagogy) often have such negative attributes. This article offers specific view of the process of stigmatization as a source of diverse experience of the stigmatized people. The text presents data collected during qualitative research targeted on specific perspective of children clients of counseling care center for children with behavioral difficulties. |
