| Description | The law plays a significant role in the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources. However, it is limited by many factors. This applies particularly to the environmental protection. One of the purposes of the present Act on the Promotion of the Use of Renewable Sources as well as the proposed Act on Promoted Energy Sources is to contribute to the environmentally friendly use of natural resources in addition to sustainable development of society in order to the climate and environment protection. Nevertheless, relevant legal regulation is rather extensive and its application can be complicated by various social phenomena. In comparison with the German and Slovak legislation, the Czech legislation is both different and similar in specific aspects. |
