Identification of metallic artifacts and corrosion or contaminant layers on their surfaces using double pulse laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy

• Description: Double pulse laser induced breakdown spectroscopy was used for identification of corrosion or contamination layers on metallic artifacts. Advanced statistical method were also applied for classification of the layers. Surface composition was also determined with XRF analyis for comparison.
