| Description | MicroRNAs consist of a large group of endogenous non-coding RNAs that inhibit translation by binding to the target mRNA. The article deals with a brief history of their discovery and describes the enormous growth of scientific interest in this type of RNA especially in relation to their use in the treatment process and deals with the emerging era of clinical testing. |
