| Description | The key objective of following article is to identify relations between real municipal citizen needs and its reflection in the municipal budget. This is based on analysis of chosen items respecting functional (or sectorial) budget classification, then on the analysis of citizens mobility expressed throughout commuting and finally on the data on population structure in chosen municipalities. Subject of this research is sample of 187 municipalities in district of „Brno – venkov“ in South Moravian region (according to territorial structure of 31st Dec 2010). In case of commuting there has been proved quiet average correlation, not completely unambiguous but still reflecting positive and considerable relation with municipal expenses on public road transportation systems. In the second analyzed case there has been verified very strong correlation between municipal expenses on in-school and out-of-school activities and number of population in the age of 0 to 14 years. |
