| Description | This paper reviews changes in the Czech industry in the last decade, including the identification of their causes. The paper follows on the article Tonev and Toušek (2002), which dealt with changes in the Czech industry between 1989 and 1999. The evaluation is based on data on the employment structure which was obtained from the cenzus 2001 and 2011 (data are further objectified). The particular attention is given to the role of foreign direct investment and the impact of the global economic crisis on the change of sectoral structure. |
