The development of both pupils’ and students’ key competences can be seen as a principal element of current school reform. To succeed in such an effort, an adequate preparation is of an utmost importance with a focus given to pregraduate preparation of teachers who should be, then, able not only to initiate the process of key competences’ development by their pupils but also to develop them further on a wholy new level. In the first year of ivestigation we would like to stress emphasize an approach within the Ph.D. theses being prepared at the Department of Education.

Results

Among the most significant outcomes of the first year of the project The Development Of Pupils’ And Students’ Key Competences are those that are closely associated to the original research work of graduate students (e. g. conference proceedings, public presentations of ongoing surveys and other outcomes of educational and research importance.
