The course Special Andragogy for Individuals with Disabilities is a new subject reacting on the demographic development in the Czech Republic and on the other hand on legislative changes, for example the Social Services Act nr. 108/2006 Sb., which severely influences the life of adults with disabilities and the aging population. The current trend is inclusion of individuals with disabilities to all areas of life, support of their development and finding alternatives to institutional care. The students of this class need to gain competences and knowledge about the current possibilities of support of this diverse target group.
The aim of this project is innovation of this course. This innovation will be carried out by analysis of professional Czech and foreign literature, realization of foreign fellowships and addition to the content of this course. The goal of this project is improvement and increased efficiency of teaching.
