The aim of this project is to establish a counseling center focused on special educational needs with specification on autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The center will offer professional counseling services to students at MU, who have one of the autism spectrum disorders (Asperger syndrome) in the field of study and educational-psychological counseling, as well as students who act as personal assistants or teacher assistants for children and pupils with autism spectrum disorders. In order to promote links between the university and nonprofit sector, counseling services will be also offered to parents of children with autism spectrum disorder, teachers from schools integrating pupils with autism spectrum disorders, social service workers and all other interested parties.
