In the previous years, student conferences were supported with research grants offered by the faculty. In 2010, a change was introduced that makes it posible to join these conferences into a larger project that will allow for their thematic and organisational coordination. The current project joins 8 conferences that will be organised by different departments of the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University under the coordination of the Institute for Research in School Education. The overall aim of the conferences is to provide Mgr. and Ph.D. students of Faculty of Education, Masaryk University with opportunities to present their research and education activities, to present the activities of the Faculty’s departments to prospective students and the general public, and to compare domain-specific approaches to empirical research exercised by different departments of the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University.

Results

In accord with the plan, 7 conferences were organised by 9 departments at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University at which specific issues for the individual field didactics were presented. 7 books of conference proceedings were published following the conferences.
