Cave sediments from the Moravian Karst as well as from other karstic regions in the CR were not intensively studied from the palynological point of view. Palynological studies can help to determinate the age of the cave sediments and they enable the paleoecological and taphonomic interpretations - reconstructions of the vegetation of the karstic regions and of the climate development. The SEM studies allowe the more precise designation of palynomorphs
From the palynological point of view there exists a unique possibility to study the complete profiles in the new discoverd cave in the Javoříčko Karst. Their sediments are investigated by other geological and paleontological methods. The study of the palynospectra from the Moravian Karst enable the comparison of both the areas. The reconstruction of the vegetation enlarge the knowledge of the landscape and climate development.
