The project develops the research of history of Czech philosophical thought in the 2Oth century that has beer executed in the frame of the GA CR grants “Discussions and polemics in the Czech philosophy 1918-1938“ and “Czech philosophy 1939-1945“. The objective of the project is to furnish a factual, critical historical and philosophical analysis of another important period in the evolution of Czech thought in the 2Oth century. fhe project will especially focus on the following questions: character and evolution of Czech reform Marxism, activities of Czech non-Marxist philosophers in the 1960‘s, influence of European and World philosophy, and the returns to the national philosophical tradition. Main research output will consist in publishing of a monography about Czech philosophical thought in the 1960‘s.
