Comparative Analysis of the Physical Education Teachers in the Czech Republic and Norway

From the point of view of faculties that are educating future physical education teachers, it is important to examine the conditions of performance of this profession, preferably in a biographical and comparative perspective, in order to innovate the teacher training programs and their further education. The main aim of the project is to compare the profession of physical education teacher in the Czech Republic and Norway. As a research method, we will use a qualitative analysis of selected curricular documents for physical education in the Czech Republic and Norway and a semi-structured interview. The research sample will consist of 20 physical education teachers. The results of the project will be published both in a chapter in a professional book and in a form of one study in a specialized peer-reviewed journal.
