The aim of this grant project is to carry out a comprehensive research on the customs law within the process of globalisation. Project's goal is to work in details with legal area which has been left out and untutored bz the legal science. The research will focus on the szstem and regulation of the customs law both in the functional and organisational point of view, using the comparison of traditional models in EU member states. Even if the topic is observed within the national law, the Euroepan regulation and world context must be taken in account. It is because the main part of this issue falls within the competence of the EC and the activities of both the memeber states and EC are limited by the regulation enacted by the WTO, WCO and other international institutions. The results of analysis as well as the recommendations de lege ferenda will be published in the law journals, cenference proceedings and finally summarized in the monograph, which may be useful especially for researchers, lawyers and customs officers.
