The project builds on earlier specific research projects "Current Issues in Health Psychology - Adolescents and Digital Media and Sexuality Across the Lifespan 1 and 2". It predominantly focuses on three themes: adolescents and the impact of digital media on their well-being, Predictors and effects of excessive computer gaming, health in the older population, especially with regard to sexual health. The project will make use of existing data, mainly of a quantitative nature - large representative questionnaire datasets from the Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (hbsc.org), the pan-European SHARE study (www.share-project.org), and data collected in previous projects funded by the GAČR.
