| Description | 21st Annual International Conference of the Czech Educational society "Today's school - "Forging-place of humanity"? took place in The Comenius Museum in Uherský Brod in Uherský Brod, Czech Republic on March 27-28, 2014. The conference, organised by the Czech Educational Society and Masaryk University's Faculty of Education, focused on current problems in teaching and education, the leitmotif being I. A. Comenius's legacy to educational sciences today. Papers were presented in four sections: 1) The Great Didactic or the Art of Teaching, 2) Labyrinth or The Child in the Maze of Contexts and Relationships, 3) Informatorium or Losing the Childhood? and 4) Improvement of All Things or the Teacher's Personality. The framework for all the presentations was set in three plenary lectures by invited distinguished guests. Selected papers will be subject to peer-review assessment and included in a publication of conference proceedings. |
