Description The paper presents the methodology and the preliminary results of qualitative research, which aims at better understanding of underexplored phenomenon – support of student teachers reflection on practice (Gelfuso & Dennis, 2014) by means of interpretative phenomenological analysis (Smith, Jarman & Osborn, 1999). Namely it is examined how one teacher educator constitutes the meaning of her experiences with the support of reflection on practice in a small group of student teachers. The results show a series of perceived differences between promoting reflection on practice in comparison with other interactive teaching at university, which places different demands on teacher educator, especially in the area of skills and attitudes. The nature of these claims will be discussed.
