| Description | The article analyses the perception of problems of agricultural land-use changes by experts in geography. The text sums up the problems that were evaluated by experts as most important ones, specifically soil erosion and degradation, suburbanization, soil abandonment, and the problem of irresponsibility for landscape. The survey also examined the examples of good practice and the ways that can improve the situation. The discussion deals with the public interest, according to which the soil is managed, and the necessity to support education on the irreplaceable character of soil. Experts agree that it is desirable to enhance the role of experts in the decision-making sphere, including the need to promote land as an irreplaceable source. The article also presents many inspiring ideas gained from the questionnaire survey. |
