| Description | *The verification was done through an application for a suitable hotel search that involving the newly created technology for tourism support. The principle of the tested technology is to increase the contribution of GIS within decision-making. This contribution is based on visual polling mechanism for geodatabase system, which is new, so far unused method of searching for objects stored in the geodatabase. Using this technology in the search for a suitable hotel will be qualitatively different way of finding a suitable hotel, which takes into account the spatial characteristics of the hotel location. The uniqueness of this technology lies in the modification of user interaction required when entering parameters and the subsequent transformation of the formulated requirement for a standard relational database query language. |
