Description The presentation is based on the project “The development of adolescent relationships: Using an attachment theory perspective, a dynamic systems approach, and a time-series method” whose aim is to explore how the changing and interdependent relationships during the early to late adolescence. The aim of the project is to verify and extend the knowledge about the development of attachment hierarchy in adolescence. It is a unique research project in the Czech environment. As part of the contribution were presented preliminary results from pilot study which was attended by 97 adolescents aged 11 to 15 years old who attend high school. The aim of the pilot study was to verify the psychometric properties and applicability of the following methods: Important People Interview (Rosenthal & Kobak, 2010) capturing an attachment hierarchy and The Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule - Child Form (Laurent & Catanzaro, 1999) which is used to detect emotional state of the respondents in recent weeks. Descriptive statistics and basic information about the attachment hierarchy from early to middle adolescence were presented.
