Description The article focuses on the regulation of employment in the years 1945 - 1948. Employment Law, influenced ravaged national economy, was modified and adapted to the needs of reconstruction. It must also respond to the massive expulsion of the German and Hungarian populations, through which simultaneously lost their qualified workforce numbered in the hundreds of thousands. To resolve the situation have been taken to a national mobilization of labor, which has become a characteristic in the period of socialism. To better understand the reporting period is outlined in the work of the previous legislation and also briefly outlined treatment follow-up, allowing their comparison. The reader can get acquainted with core labor institutes: the subjects of law, the creation and termination of employment, working hours, remuneration, occupational safety issues and employee representation in union organizations. Special attention is paid to particular kinds of employment relationships. It is also explained by applying different employment rules for individual groups of the population, especially with regard to their gender and physical and mental development, but also in terms of nationality or other characters.
