| Description | The topical issue of the Czech peer-reviewed journal Iluminace focuses on acting between film, theatre and television. It contains the translation of Andrew Klevan's study focusing on the possibilities of analysing screen acting and its meaning. Three original articles by Czech scholars are also part of the issue - one dedicated to the topic of acting in Czech silent cinema (Radomír D. Kokeš), on the star persona of Oldřich Nový (Š. Gmiterková) and Marta Kubišová (M. Papežová). In the section Practical voices the editor made an interview with casting director Kateřina Oujezdská and the edition of archival materials introduces the topic of Divadlo státního filmu in the period 1948-1951. |
