| Description | In its first part, the chapter critiques the concept of green growth and the statements of its predecessors and follows E.F. Schumacher in arguing that "the problem of production has not been solved". This is supported by facts from current energy science and laws of theromdynamics. The second part of the chapter focuses on the importance of socio-economic transformation and analyzes the qualities of eco-social enterprises as a medium for such a transition. |
