| Description | The book is an extensive treatise on various aspects of land ownership. It present definitions of basic concepts (land lot, land parcel, soil) and analyses the issue of component parts of land, it also deals with all the main ways of acquiring land ownership, titles for use of land and the consequences of using land without legal title, important instances of limitation of right of ownership originating in private as well as public law, instruments of protection of land owner's rights (chiefly possessory remedies and ownership-based remedies), valuation of land, compensation of damage to land and specific cases of great changes in land ownership in the Czech Republic, in particular the property restitutions. |
