| Description | The contribution presents the results of practical management and ecological monitoring of a meadow wetland located in Krumvíř (South Moravia, Czech Republic). Since 2020, restoration of the degraded wetland habitat has been carried out through grazing and mowing aimed at suppressing invasive and expansive plant species and restoring original halophilous and hygrophilous communities. The presentation summarizes vegetation changes and positive effects on selected faunal groups (ground beetles, true bugs, orthopterans, amphibians). The results demonstrate that the combination of grazing and mowing increases species diversity and supports the return of endangered species. The presentation also highlights common management mistakes and provides recommendations for sustainable wetland conservation. |
