| Description | The project of the Czech Dictionary of Musicians and Musical Institutions (CDMMI) follows the tradition of specialised lexicographical works on the music culture of the Czech lands. Its aim is to record the music scene again after forty years since the last work of this type was published. CMDPI will bring in several editorial stages cca 16.000 entries dealing with all relevant subjects, which represent the past and the present of music culture in the Czech lands. Considering the contemporary state of knowledge, the project will be a long-term one, with the supposed completion in 10 or 12 years. |
