Description The article is devoted to foreign and security policy of Czech Republic. The first part of the article presents the review of the foreign and security policy from the rise of independetne Czech state. Next it characterizes Czech institutions and legal subjects acting within the foreign policy matters and the security. The next part of the article is devoted to the analysis of Czech foreign and security policy aims and their realization. There are also main threats characterized, which are connected with those two areas and with which Czech Republic deals. According to the author, the international situation of Czech Republic may be defined as stable. Czech Republic is an active participant in the international security system and foreign and security policy of the country is adequate to the possibilities and the strategic position of the country.
