Description To establish on a suture ischemia-reperfusion model of cerebal ACM ischemia in a rat whether there is a correlation between the decrease of tissue oxygen during ischemia and the development of apoptosis. To establish whether there is some neuroprotective role of systemic hypertension. Hypertension influences both pt02 and number of apoptotic cells in tissue at risk and works as a good neuroprotection. This finding may have also clinical implications for example in aneurysm surgery.
