Description In the years 1990-2004 there were registered 4,322 new diseases of HL and 13,316 of NHL and died 1,755 of HL and 6,647 of NHL in the Czech Republic. The number of surviving with malignant lymphoma increased from 2,432 to 5,375 persons, i.e. by 121%. Their healthcare is mainly concentrated in four regions.The estimated prevalence of 13,000 in 2010 and 15,000 patients in 2015 with malignant lymphoma is the serious reason for effective treatment in view of present health costs of 11 billions CZK of 445 thousand cancers in the Czech Republic.
