• Description: In the present study, we have investigated levels of anti/estrogens, anti/androgens and dioxin-like compounds (by the use of in vitro assays) in influent and effluent waters at municipal WWTP in Brno Modřice during a year round assessment. Obtained results were comparable with the previously published data from other countries. Nonspecific cytotoxicity of the waste water has been shown to be an important parameter for evaluation of endocrine potential.
