| Description | Within the COMPACT project, a research team of the Language Centre of Masaryk University compiled a handbook that stems from the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and specifies language competences in the field of the scientific and academic foreign language. The material describes both communication (listening, writing, reading and speaking) and linguistic (language mastery) competences at B1, B2 and C1 levels. It also contains summarising tables that can be helpful for students who want to determine approximately the level of their language competences, as well as detailed descriptions of competences that can be used by teachers of a scientific and academic foreign language as a helping tool for elaborating syllabi of language courses or for determining concrete requirements for oral and written testing. |
