| Description | The first part of the paper sums up the possibilities of using Wiki (a separate installation, or an existing project like Wikipedia) for running courses and compiling interactive learning materials, and offers practical experience from several projects of this type. The closing part deals with the position of Wikipedia in schools and in academia. It refers to some sources in English, argues in favor of assigning editing in Wikipedia to students, and points out the potential of Wikipedia as source of non-professional texts (including successive versions) by multiple authors; these represent a useful data for research or teaching. |
