Description The study builds on the results of a research project entitled Multimedia Technologies Application in Music Education at Elementary Schools in Czech Republic, which was implemented in 2010 by academic staff and postgraduate students of Music Department, Faculty of Education, Masaryk University, Brno. Only 120 respondents of the 614 surveyed teachers have direct experience with music software. The most commonly used music software in terms of music education teacher is Sibelius, Capella, Finale, Cubase, Cakewalk, Encore and Sequel. The author of the study analyze and compare given music software in terms of direct applicability in music education. Published in English as well, in: Sedláček, M. (ed.)
