| Description | In their study the authors point out the importance of acute gastrofiberscopy (GFS) in a surgical workplace and they evaluate the results of a 21-year period (1988–2009). Success rate of endoscopic haemostasis was 88 %, recurrence appeared in 14 %. If nonvariceal bleeding recurs after originally successful haemostasis we do not perform more than two endoscopic interventions to stop the bleeding. |
