|Description||The paper is focused on finding relationships between the choice of future profession at the end of compulsory schooling and selfconcept adolescent s selfconcept and their identity. Empirical data are based on a longitudinal study ELSPAC carried at Masaryk University in Brno - data from the interview (intended occupation and motivation of professional choice), questionnaire data from the Holland questionnaire (certainty / uncertainty in career choice) and Coopersmith questionnaire (selfesteem) are analyzed.|
