Interruption of studies
Studies may be interrupted in accordance with section 13 of the Study and Examination Regulations. You may interrupt your studies only in case you meet conditions for enrolment in an upcoming semester and in case you have successfully completed at least one semester of studies. If this is not the case, your application for interruption will be assessed by the dean.
Studies are always interrupted for a period of several full semesters including the remainder of the semester when the request for interruption was initially filed. The sum total duration of interrupted studies is included in the total duration of studies in a given programme with the exception of interruptions due to health-related reasons or parental leave.
