Rector's scholarship programme to support students in difficult life situations

The scholarship is awarded to students who suddenly find themselves in an unfortunate, particularly difficult life situation. This scholarship is not intended for students studying in paid study programmes in a language other than czech (selfpayers). The Vice-rector for Student and Alumni Affairs will take into account the seriousness of the social and life situation of the student and the course of his/her studies. He/she will also take into account the amount of the scholarship fund allocated for this purpose. The amount of the scholarship is usually not more than CZK 20,000.

How to apply

The application for this scholarship is submitted through the Office for Studies of the MU Rector’s Office, it must contain the student's name, surname and personal university number (UČO), his/her residence, the reason for submitting the application and attachments proving the difficult life situation of the student. The application may be submitted at any time during the academic year outside the period from 1/7 to 31/8, but no more than once per semester.
