MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The university currently has a “WHITE LIGHT” rating, determined by the MU Crisis Board. University faculties, institutes, and offices may declare a higher alert level than the university-wide level or introduce stricter rules than elsewhere at the university. Follow the websites of individual faculties and the colour-coded signs hanging on the exteriors of MU buildings.
MU Rector Martin Bareš and University of Rennes 1 Rector David Alis signed an agreement on two joint study programmes, also called double degrees, in Rennes on Thursday. Graduates of these programmes will receive diplomas from both universities.
Inga Palsson studied psychology in Montreal, but she was not very keen on it, so she was wondering about going to study in Europe. In the end, she chose the English Language and Literature programme at MU, where she could study literature and linguistics at the same time, which she found very interesting.
As part of the Czech Presidency of the EU Council, MU held an international scientific symposium addressing environmental and health crises. The conference was organized by Masaryk University.
