University measures taken regarding COVID-19
- MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The risk assessment level is currently WHITE. It is not compulsory to wear respirators in all MU buildings.

MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The university currently has a “WHITE LIGHT” rating, determined by the MU Crisis Board. University faculties, institutes, and offices may declare a higher alert level than the university-wide level or introduce stricter rules than elsewhere at the university. Follow the websites of individual faculties and the colour-coded signs hanging on the exteriors of MU buildings.

RECETOX Research Team Successfully Completes Project on Male Reproductive Toxicity Assessment Without Animal Testing
At the end of last year, the RECETOX center successfully completed a project funded by the Czech Science Foundation (GA CR) titled “Alternative Approaches in the Assessment of Male Reproductive Toxicity of Chemical Mixtures Without Animal Testing.” The project focused on potentially hazardous chemicals and their mixtures that can affect reproduction or reproductive health in men. The main goal was to improve this assessment by incorporating in vitro models, which have proven to be more effective and relevant than currently used animal testing.

The annual two-day lecture event, which traditionally begins at the Masaryk Memorial on Komenský Square, included a live recording of the podcast Rewrite History. Daniel Kroupa was awarded the Roger Scruton Medal by Masaryk University.

MU students from Taiwan and Ecuador became best friends
Each of them comes from a different continent and culture, but ever since Yu-Jou Sheu from Taiwan and Alisson Curimilma from Ecuador met at Masaryk University, they have become inseparable friends. The two students are always together not only at school, but also in their free time and during their teacher training.
