University measures taken regarding COVID-19
- MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The risk assessment level is currently WHITE. It is not compulsory to wear respirators in all MU buildings.
- All covid-19 policies related to entering the country have been suspended. See also current restrictions in the Czech Republic.

MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The university currently has a “WHITE LIGHT” rating, determined by the MU Crisis Board. University faculties, institutes, and offices may declare a higher alert level than the university-wide level or introduce stricter rules than elsewhere at the university. Follow the websites of individual faculties and the colour-coded signs hanging on the exteriors of MU buildings.

MU visits Basel to gain inspiration for research and innovation
In mid-September, Masaryk University joined a local government delegation from the South Moravian Region on a working visit to Switzerland. An important stop on the trip was Basel, one of the leading European centres of pharmaceutical and biotechnology research, where university representatives visited the renowned Biozentrum of the University of Basel.

MU welcomed over seven hundred international students
This year again, Masaryk University was joined by hundreds of students from all over the world. International newcomers began the semester with an Orientation Week full of lectures, workshops, and social events that helped them integrate into university life.
