Description Law and Literature may be considered one of the current critical treams of legally-philosophical thinking. It stems from understanding law as language that may have its literary form and conisders law a cultural artefact that may be subjected to analysis similar to the analysis of any other literary piece of text. This approach employs various methods that may be helpful in legal methodology or in legal interpretation. This article focuses on the Law and Literature movement and stresses the current trends within this movement. It shows how various methods emloyed in analysis of literary text may be used in law. Scholars form Faculty of Law, Masaryk University, have shown engagement in these analytical methods. This article also covers results of their research.
