Description Positive psychology is a science focused on investigating the determinants and sources of mental well-being and the factors that contribute to a healthy, successful and meaningful life. Its findings offer wide possibilities of application both in the mental health care of the general population and also of patients with serious chronic diseases. The aim of the lecture was to present the theoretical background for the creation of online positive psychology interventions and to present current findings regarding their content, focus and effectiveness. We provided an overview of existing validated online programs of positive psychology and their specifics for use in clinical practice, and we also listed the possibilities of using online psychosocial interventions to support mental well-being and psychological resilience in family members of patients and medical staff. In conclusion, we offered recommendations and shared experience with the creation of an application for oncology patients MindCare using methods and interventions of positive psychology.
