| Description | A comparatively extensive material of Agromyzidae (Diptera) totaling 874 specimens was examined and 80 species were ascertained. A special attention was devoted to the Nature Reserves "Čertoryje" and "Porážky" in the southern part of the White Carpathians Protected Landscape area. Material gained was analysed from the viewpoint of species composition with regard to dominance, constancy and a type of distribution. The investigated Nature Reserves showed a high standard of agromyzid communities living on Carpathian meadows. Both studied localities harboured 30 common species and may be distinctly distinguished by characteristic species as well as the total number of species found. Conteporarily 166 species of agromyzid leaf mining flies are known from the whole of the White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area, 27 of which are recorded herewith for the first time. Five species are new for the fauna of the Czech Republic and one species is new for Moravia & Silesia. |
