Description The sediments from the Balcarka cave in the Moravina Karst were studied from palynological point of view.In the lower part of the profiles taphocenoses with the prevailing heliophilous steppes plants and less frequent trees are present- belongs probably to some of the Late Glacial colder phases. The overlaying sediments contained a greater amount of trees with prevailing Corylus, frequent Pinus, Betula, Alnus, Tilia and sporadic Picea They could be formed in some warmer parts of the last Glacial or during Early Holocene (Boreal).
