Description Organic pollutants can affect wide set of biochemical a physiological processes taking part both qualitatively and quantitatively on biomass production. Growth and differentiation of plants are regulated by a system of endogenous growth regulators. Changes recorded in biomass production of plants exposed to FLT effect showing a tendency to increase their fresh weight, decrease of their dry weight and increase in chlorophyll content, could be related to change in endogenous cytokinin level. The content of assessed cytokinins (DHZR, iP, BA, BAR, mT, mTR) was increased and correlated well with the increasing environmental loading (1 and 5 mg/L). The same stressor, but in lower concentration (0.1 mg/L) caused an inhibition of cytokinins synthesis.
