University measures taken regarding COVID-19
- MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The risk assessment level is currently WHITE. It is not compulsory to wear respirators in all MU buildings.
- All covid-19 policies related to entering the country have been suspended. See also current restrictions in the Czech Republic.

MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The university currently has a “WHITE LIGHT” rating, determined by the MU Crisis Board. University faculties, institutes, and offices may declare a higher alert level than the university-wide level or introduce stricter rules than elsewhere at the university. Follow the websites of individual faculties and the colour-coded signs hanging on the exteriors of MU buildings.

Brno confirmed as Czech cybersecurity hub with approval of two major EU projects
Two Brno universities – Masaryk University and Brno University of Technology – have been selected to lead two new EU-funded cybersecurity projects. Both initiatives stem from their collaboration within the Cyber-security Excellence Hub in Estonia and South Moravia (CHESS), a project that has brought together the leading cyber-security institutions in South Moravia and Estonia.

MUNI DAY will once again connect university in sports and tours
In just 5 weeks the biggest university-wide sports and social gathering of students and employees of Masaryk University – MUNI DAY – will start. The Bohunice University Campus will welcome MU alumni for the first time on Wednesday 14 May.

MUNI RUN 2025 takes runners through campus again
All runners are invited and they do not have to be MU employees or students: MUNI RUN in the Bohunice campus on 13 May is open to adults and children alike.
