| Description | The set of seven specialized maps with professional content represents a contribution to research into the possibilities of identification, registration, documentation, classification and evaluation of historical irrigation objects and their functional units and shows possible ways of graphically interpreting the interrelationships within these functional units with the potential to set priorities for the preservation of technical heritage , including possible monument protection. The set of maps represents the results of research into selected irrigation systems, which represent the oldest, historical, but also key systems defining the development of this branch of water management in the Czech Republic, respectively Czechoslovakia. Individual areas and localities of irrigation systems were chosen to represent selected main types of irrigation according to the processed typology, which was created on the basis of a generally recognized distribution of irrigation. The aim and purpose of the presented set of maps is also to present the possibilities and methods of mapping, identification and interpretation of the development of irrigation system objects. |
